EDS IS THE BEST COURSE OF ACTION AND EASIEST WAY

Gizem Coşkun, a Project Specialist in the Strategic Planning and Business Development Department of Emirali Tekstil, one of the leading textile companies in Bursa, answered Enfotek's questions. Stating that they could easily examine the production activities and sales of the company thanks to EDS under pandemic conditions, Coşkun said: “The garment industry is a sector that changes rapidly and is constantly renewed. EDS helps us solve our business processes in the easiest and right way.” Coşkun also underlined that the biggest contribution of EDS to Emirali Tekstil is traceability.

Hello, can we get to know you first?

Gizem Coskun. I am a graduate of Uludag University, Department of Textile Engineering. I have been working as a project specialist in the strategic planning and business development department for 2 years. We have an ERP project team of 4 people, all of whom have engineering licenses.

Can we get information about your company? How many people work, what they produce, what are their business partners, in which regions are they active?

Since 2003, Emirali Tekstil has been operating in the garment industry. We are currently continuing with a capacity of 400 people. We are a company that exports 100 percent. We work with brands that are pioneers in the clothing industry in countries such as Spain and England.

What kind of contributions has EDS made to your company under pandemic conditions?

Thanks to EDS, we examined our production activities and sales under pandemic condition and we have turned this period into the benefit of the company by taking the necessary steps in this direction.

What changes in business processes with EDS?

As you know, the apparel industry is a rapidly changing and constantly renewing industry. Each model is actually a project for us. It enables us to solve our business processes in the easiest and right way.

What are the general comments of EDS users in your company about the system?

The user-friendliness of the screens allows users to easily access the data they need. In addition, the template structure allows them to complete their standard work without the need for repetitive operations in their daily routine.

What is the biggest advantage of EDS for a company?

EDS creates the corporate culture, helps us to analyze where we have come from past to present and to draw our future roadmap. The biggest advantage it provides to our company is, of course, traceability. It supports us by providing instant tracking, interpretation and reporting of company activities.

What is your favorite feature in EDS?

Thanks to the authorization-control structure of EDS, user-based errors are minimized, since screen views and authorizations can be made to the user within the framework of the job description. Thanks to the approval mechanism, it provides on-site and timely follow-up to the relevant department managers.

What would you say about Enfotek's consultancy services?

Enfotek provides us with the opportunity to work with a team that knows the sector and has experience, where we can consider an innovation we request as a project and take action after the necessary evaluations.

Would you recommend EDS to other textile companies?

I recommend EDS because it is one of the rare ERP programs that provides the flexibility needed by the textile industry.
