OUR BUSINESS IS CONDUCTED THROUGH EDS

Kemal Özevin, Strategic Planning and Business Development Manager of Emirali Tekstil, one of the leading textile companies in Bursa, which increases its contribution to the Turkish economy day by day, answered Enfotek's questions. Özevin, who stated that the works in Emirali, which produces for countries such as England and Spain and employs approximately 450 people, are carried out through EDS, said, “EDS has a flexible structure. It can be shaped according to the needs of the company.” Stating that they preferred EDS for the Alle Tekstil company, which is a subsidiary of Emirali Tekstil and has just completed its establishment phase, Kemal Özevin said, “We want to build the whole system on EDS. We want to capture the gains of EDS while it is still at the beginning.”

Hello Mr. Kemal, can we get to know you first?

Hello, I'm Kemal Özevin. I am a graduate of Ege University Textile Engineering Department. I have been working at Emirali Tekstil for 13 years. For the last 2 years, I have been working as a Strategic Planning and Business Development Manager.

Can we get information about Emirali Tekstil?

Emirali Tekstil was established in 2003. It currently has around 450 employees. About 150 people are white-collar and the rest one is active in production department. We mainly produce and weave women's outerwear. We work for countries such as Spain, England. We have been using EDS for over 5 years. There is also Alle Tekstil, a subsidiary company of Emirali Tekstil. We will use EDS there as well. As a company, we thought that all processes should be managed through the ERP system before the company started operating, and we preferred EDS for Alle Tekstil. We want to build the whole order on EDS. We want to capture the gains of EDS while it is still at the beginning.

What are the contributions of EDS to business processes?

Emirali has a 5-year history with EDS. EDS is actively used by around 45-50 people in our company. We are trying to increase the usage rate. We take care to enter and track all our data through the system. We are also making progress with the use of this data. We have ongoing business processes. We are also improving our processes such as foreign trade and packing list. Things are running on EDS. EDS is very beneficial for us at the end of the day. Institutional memory is formed and we are moving forward in a structure where the system does not depend on the person. Our duplicate jobs are disappearing.

What are the strengths of EDS?

EDS has a flexible structure. It can be shaped according to the needs of the company. And the system also is easy to manage. The interfaces of sections such as user and authorization are clear and fluent.

What would you say about Enfotek's consultancy services?

Enfotek's staff is knowledgeable and foresighted, with a strong sectoral reflex. Not only the installers and consultants, but also the friends on the software side of the business have ideas about textiles and develop accordingly.
