Çağrı Ovayurt, who is the Marketing Coordinator of Veritas Tekstil, one of the biggest textile companies in Denizli, answered Enfotek's questions. Ovayurt said: "EDS is the best software on the market today. I can't imagine a world without EDS and I can't think of any other software, either."
Hello Mr. Çağrı, can we get to know you briefly?
Hello, I am Çağrı Ovayurt. I am a graduate of Ege University Textile Engineering Department. I am currently working as a Marketing Coordinator at Veritas Tekstil.
Can you please give information about Veritas Tekstil?
Our company manufactures towels and bathrobes. Its main market is the USA, but it usually markets innovative products. Its main difference from other companies is that it produces innovative and innovative technology-based products. Our company currently employs approximately 600 people. Approximately 8-10 million towels, 500-600 thousand bathrobes and other products are produced annually.
Veritas is one of the leading companies in the sector that we hear frequently. So, what does Veritas think about the future of the sector, what position does it take? What is the strategy of the future in the Ready-to-Wear industry?
We have progressed with an innovative strategy until now. Each of our products came to the fore with its innovative difference. This has always carried our momentum forward. Veritas is a big company having big targets. It is a company that always thinks about the summit in a competitive environment and makes investments and productions accordingly. Instead of repeating ourselves, we are a company that always seeks the new and pursues the better.
You have been actively working in this sector for many years. What do you think about difficult and enjoyable aspects of the industry?
Due to the decrease in qualified personnel in the textile sector, the management of production became difficult. Textile is a changing industry that stretches like fabric. That's why it is always difficult to manage. As the pleasant aspects; If you focus on this area well, you can become a leading company in the world. Textile is a sector that loves innovative and reformer approaches.
How long has Veritas Tekstil been using EDS?
I guess we have been using EDS for over 5 years. It was interesting that we met with EDS. We were looking for a software. We had software used before. But this was supposed to cover the whole area and be more functional. In our research, we heard about EDS with good references. And we started working with EDS.
What influenced your choice of EDS?
As I said, we looked for many software in the industry. Among these, EDS already stood out since it directly focuses on textiles. One of the points that impressed me is the vision of the founders and managers of Enfotek company. I think this is a very important issue. I saw that vision there and thought we could move forward together. The EDS is like an alive organism, it lives, grows and develops. As we saw this, we thought that there are many areas that we can develop suitable for our company. We thought Enfotek was a good partner. And as of today, we use EDS in all areas of production. My future goal is to add a module that can work with artificial intelligence, so to speak, and make EDS completely manage the entire company. In the future, I think that EDS can replace a human being and will be in the position of our manager. As a company, we dream of an EDS where human error will be eliminated.
Is EDS open to these developments?
Yes. EDS is open to this development. By living these times together, I believe that we will carry EDS to a further point. I am 100 percent sure that EDS will become a world-class program in the future. I already tell these developments to everyone around me. Because in this era, it is not possible to think not to use an ERP program. Without this program that presents the data for an administrator, the chances of management are zero. You can access data even from your mobile phone. EDS is open to these improvements. I put EDS in a separate place among other ERPs. EDS should continue to be clarified with such references. I also believe that many companies will also choose EDS. As a result, EDS is on the right track.
What are the features you find most functional in EDS?
As I am in a managerial position, we want results from EDS. The cockpit is an important module for us. It facilitates instant data presentation to the customer. It allows us to comment on where the company is going. That’s the point where I focus on.
What would you say about Enfotek's consultancy services?
I will speak frankly. A friend’s eye is a good mirror. There are points that need improvement. But at the current level, I think it is normal. It's a software business. Sometimes we request very extra demands. I guess all companies do this. There is no final date for these kinds of requests in the software. Development happens over time. In my opinion, these processes are at a very good level at Enfotek compared to other companies. And I believe that these points will also get improved.
What kinds of advice you would like to give to companies that want to invest in ERP? Is it possible to consider a development without ERP?
Development is not possible without ERP. Of course, the ERP software must also be the right software. It should give you the data you want. Veritas has an interactive process in using EDS. It can offer point solutions to our point problems. And by understanding this, it develops solutions that can generalize to other companies. It adapts the solutions offered for other companies to us… There is no development without ERP. EDS is the right tool for these purposes. So why? The answer to this question should be sought in companies that use this software. I invite companies that want to invest in ERP to our company. I want them to see how far we have come with EDS here. Because there may be applications that we will gain from many companies. In other words, my advice to companies that are open to development is to see EDS in practice, in the field, and make decisions accordingly. We, as Veritas Tekstil, invite all companies that want to invest in ERP to our company and recommend them to see how EDS is implemented.
As the last question; What does Veritas do about sustainability and corporate social responsibility projects?
We always motivate our customers to use organic products. And our %25 of our production is based on organic textile. This number is increasing day by day. We are constantly striving to continue on our way with products that are open to recycling. I can briefly say these in terms of product oriented. We also have some projects about our employees. In our company, there is no distinction between the highest level manager and our colleagues in production regarding legal and social rights. This is what it should be. In many companies, a doctor may be a necessity, but in our company, there are psychologists as well as doctors and nurses. Our psychologist also helps family members of our employees outside the company. Veritas managers always have great respect for employees, friends in production. We see the difficulty of their work and try to do whatever it takes to make their life easier. Our workers are worth these, and these are social rights anyway. These are the things that should be. Because people matter. You can find the machines here all over the world. But there are more important things than that. We are also careful in the selection of staff. We consider human relations and compatibility rather than talent. This ensures the formation of the Veritas Family. We are trying to stay together not only financially, but also spiritually.

In my opinion, EDS is the best software on the market today. I think it will be even more excellent software. I think it will become a technology to be managed with artificial intelligence in the future. In line with these goals, we work very well with each other. The approach from both sides is very important. Our work with Enfotek is very good in terms of both mental and material and moral aspects. I think both companies are satisfied. I cannot imagine a world without EDS. I can't think of any other software. Personally, I have reviewed and experienced many software. I see this when we look at the path we have taken with EDS. There may be some resistance at first. Just as calligraphers opposed printing when the printing press was invented, sometimes this can happen. This is how we started EDS. However, after exceeding these bar, you experience an incredible ease. If you ask any of our employees at Veritas right now, they will say: “it is not possible to consider a life without EDS”. In other words, if we don't want to work with EDS, they want to continue using the program by giving from their own pockets. As a result, it is very important that EDS has reached this point. I see that the entire future of our company is on EDS. And we continue to protect, upgrade and develop the missing sides.
