Hello, I'm Medine Ceyhaner. I graduated from Gazi University, Department of Chemical Engineering. I have been working as Quality Assurance Chief and EDS Project Manager at Kaynak Tekstil for more than 1 year.
Can we get information about Kaynak Tekstil?
Kaynak Group is a company established in 1987. Today, it operates in the textile (yarn, fabric, towel & bathrobe, ready-to-wear), marble, metal and fuel sectors. We mainly produce men's and women's trousers with our 342 employees in our production facility in Denizli. We mainly export to many countries such as England, Germany, Denmark.
How did you meet with EDS? How does the system work now?
Kaynak Tekstil has been using EDS for about 7 years. Now, when there is any internet outage or mishap and EDS stops, our entire production and ordering process comes to a stopping point. Since all of our business runs on EDS. The day before, we receive information reports such as what was cut, what was sewn, what was the cut-out, what was the sewing-out from the EDS. We also receive reports from EDS, such as second quality color and weaving defects, which are also packaged. In short, all information about processes comes to us with EDS.
How many people in the company use EDS and how are the user reviews?
40 people actively use EDS, and in general the reviews are positive. We mainly use the Model, Purchase and Order Module. While creating a first sample from scratch or creating a model, every information is entered into the system via EDS. There is no paperwork going around.
How is your personal experience in using EDS?
I used two foreign ERP systems, which are known and widely preferred in the market before. Compared to these two programs, EDS is much easier to use and its displays are much more clear. When there is a problem in the system, the return is much faster than the other two companies. Because other systems are not textile-based, while searching for the solution in general ways, EDS offers you the solution in a short time as it is an ERP specialized on textiles. At the same time, EDS is more valuable because it is made by Turkish engineers and software developers.
Would you recommend EDS to other businesses?
Yes, I do. Because EDS is very easy to use. Enfotek's response to our questions in the system is very fast. Even if our problem is minor, Enfotek is always helpful.
