TRACKING OUR JOURNEY WITH THE DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION SCORECARD

Betül Evli, EDS Project Manager at GNT Textile based in İzmir, addressed questions from Enfotek regarding the Digital Transformation Scorecard. Evli highlighted the utility of Enfotek's Digital Transformation Scorecard in viewing project success performance indicators, stating, "The Digital Transformation Scorecard provided us with a clear comparative view of the project's journey. This allowed for easy identification of progress and areas needing improvement through measurable analysis." Evli also emphasized that decision-making processes became easier with the outputs of the Digital Transformation Scorecard, believing that the path forward in quality and time management will advance even further.

Betül Evli, EDS Project Manager at GNT Textile, responds to our questions:

Could you share your digital transformation story with us?

Our journey in digital transformation began with ensuring collaboration across all units in project planning and EDS usage. Our objectives in the ongoing ERP Project were effective use of EDS by our company employees, developing user-friendly enhancements tailored to our business processes, eliminating redundant tasks between units, ensuring timely data entries, and using EDS reports and information infrastructure in meetings and presentations to management. Achieving these objectives while ensuring all processes are measurable was crucial for our company. At this point, the Digital Transformation Scorecard provided by Enfotek was incredibly beneficial in showing both our project success indicators and areas for improvement. Additionally, consultancy services offered by Enfotek provided more objective and guiding perspectives to relevant units.

What impact has digital transformation had on your company and employees over the past year?

The adoption of EDS has transformed employee perspectives towards the ERP system positively, with easier and more secure access to data. Significant benefits include reduced phone traffic and quicker, safer access to data through the ERP system. The ability to conduct reports and some analyses via EDS has saved our employees time. EDS has also made projects more trackable, offering solid data for evaluating investments, and aiding in decision-making for planning and determining the necessity of future investments.

Can you clearly see the strengths and areas for improvement in your company's business processes with the Digital Transformation Scorecard?

Yes, we can. We believe the evaluation of query parameters, particularly through review meetings with Enfotek, has significantly contributed to the project.

How do you evaluate the results of the Digital Transformation Scorecard? What tools do you use?

The Digital Transformation Scorecard provided by Enfotek allowed us to see the project's journey in a clear, comparative manner (e.g., over 3-month and 6-month periods). This facilitated the identification of progress and areas for improvement through measurable analysis. Following these evaluations, we believe the decisions made and progress achieved in quality and time management indicate more advancements to come. In terms of tools utilized during the digital transformation process, we can mention the KEYPAD for digitalizing fabric control data in collaboration with Enfotek, Mobile Compatible Cloud Integration for sending notifications to our cell phones, Barcode Scanners used for preparing Pickup Lists, and Interactive Screens as a meeting management tool.
