ENFOTEK OPTIMISTIC ABOUT 2024: I TRUST THE TURKISH INDUSTRIALISTS

Tuğrul Tamtürk, Founder and Chairman of the Board at Enfotek ERP and Software Solutions, provided insights regarding the company’s expectations for 2024 and the projects Enfotek will be undertaking this year. While acknowledging Turkey's current economic crisis, Tamtürk stressed the importance of maintaining a positive outlook, stating, "Even in times of crisis, I have faith in our Turkish industrialists. We have manufacturers who can develop creative solutions, take risks, and manage chaos calmly. As a country, we must rely on our own resources and workforce to create our solutions."

"WE REAP WHAT WE SOW"

Tamtürk acknowledged the reports in the media about companies canceling their orders or pulling out of Turkey as true, saying, "Some corporations are shifting their orders towards regions like Asia and North Africa. Bankruptcies are happening as well. Even during the pandemic, which was one of the deepest crises faced by our country and the world, a 10 to 20 percent segment led the way, keeping the sector afloat. We will continue on our path by finding similar solutions. Turkey will face tough times, but we will reap what we sow." He continued:

"LET’S NOT PANIC, BUT LET’S DEVELOP URGENT SOLUTIONS"

"In times of crisis, we need to create our solutions. This requires the right systems and catalyst individuals, and none of this is possible without establishing commercial trust. We must continue without succumbing to our emotions in a state of panic. Our industrialists are brave people who can take on the world’s highest risks and manage them. They are qualified; as a nation, our commercial knowledge is strong, and we can create projects out of nothing. We have industrialists who started as workers abroad, progressed to producing for the brands of the factories they worked in, and even managed to buy those companies. We have many such success stories. The year 2024 will be one in which new solutions are indispensable. We need to focus on rational, tested, collectively-driven solutions. We need to return to an environment of commercial trust akin to 40 years ago, when business was conducted on word alone, and re-establish our collective strength through commercial ethics and integrity. As Turkish people, I believe we have the necessary codes to establish this, despite the world's changing balance of power, war, dollarization, and inflation."
